I was attracted to the people in the office during my interview process; the excitement and energy was contagious. I had interviewed at other places and they were not necessarily negative environments, but I could tell from what I read on-line and what I observed during the interview process that Paycom was a company that was really going places.

What in your role at Paycom are you passionate about?
I am passionate about the opportunity to grow and develop people and see them reach their full potential. Promoting one of my sales reps to management is my greatest accomplishment to this point. Also, seeing my colleagues successfully move from sales to management and open new offices is encouraging.

What has been your favorite experience working at Paycom?
It has to be that sense of accomplishment when you help in the development of others.

What has been your career growth path at Paycom?
I began as a Sales Rep working a rural territory. I sold for seven months, and was promoted to Sales Manager in the Tulsa office. Despite having the smallest market and one of the newest teams, we finished third in the country. This success opened a door for me to be able to move to a new market and open a new office from scratch. In 2009, I helped build the sales team in Charlotte. We were the #1 New Sales Office in our first year. Now I am managing the reps who I hired and trained last year, and we hope to far surpass what we accomplished in our first year!
